The V.B.I.T not only works for teaching and learning process as per the University prescribed syllabus, but also works for the improvement of the students in multi directions. The students are observed individually by the faculty and by HOD’s. A mentor is identified for a group of students in given class and identified mentor looks after the students for all the requirements of teaching and learning process.

The deviations of the individual students and the drawbacks identified by the faculty/mentor and the remedial actions are taken immediately and the parents are also briefed if necessary and accordingly. This is a massive task and is being done were effectively at V.B.I.T under the student counseling cell. In addition to the identified faculty members, two administrative persons work for the functioning of the cell. The cell also briefs the parents of the students for the indifferent performances of the students on the above topics.The students are counseled for attendance, attitudes, performance in examinations and for other tasks like payment of the fees in time, cell phone utilization, ragging etc. as per the models given below:
