Department of EEE,in collaboration with Electrockz,Branch Association of the Department conducted a guest lecture for under graduate students.The lecture was delivered by Mr.Y.Rama Mohan,ADE/TRANSCO,Chandrayanagutta,Hyderabad on the topic “Overview of 400kv Substation Switchgear Equipment and Hotlines.”
His lecture threw some light on the signal line diagrams,concepts were covered were covered.He also provided the students the probable cause of accidents in the substation and preventive measures by giving several examples.
